Junction 39 take the A636 signposted Denby Dale, up to the roundabout, straight across and down the hill. At the bottom take a right turn signposted Emley. Stay on this road thru Emley village you will pass mast on left, 3 Acres Hotel & Restaurant on right to T Junction. Turn right and 1st left Near Bank, down the hill up the other side we are on the left. 8.2 miles from Junc 39 M1.
From M62
From Junction 23 take A640 into Huddersfield. From Junction 24 take A629 into Huddersfield. Both these roads go on to the ring road, you are looking for the A629 Sheffield road. ( I know Huddersfield is a nightmare but bear with it ) When you have found the A629 you follow it, eventually coming to Shepley, (now you are getting closer) Through Shepley up the hill - look out for a left turn Carr Lane - we are 1.5 miles down here under the railway bridge and on the right hand side.
