North Country Fly-tying Silks

A comprehensive range of traditional silk threads for dressing North Country spider patterns. Each thread colour has been individually matched against the authentic vintage silk chart found in the deluxe edition of Edmonds & Lee’s classic book “Brook and River Trouting”. Specially formulated from Chinese Bombyx raw silk and dyed to exact standards, each spool contains 45 meters.

Thanks for the silk threads. It is hard to find silks that match the traditional colours, but you have done it perfectly. Your purple silk matches my old wooden spool of silk perfectly.
