Modern synthetic body quills take all the pain and heartache out of forming quill bodies on nymphs and dry flies. These Veniard Synthetic Quills feature a longer length than natural quills enabling the fly-tyer to produce a larger range of body profiles.
To form your fly body simply wrap the Synthetic Quill Body directly on to the hook body and apply a thin layer of varnish or Bug-Bond and there you have it... a perfect quill body. These synthetic quills come in a range of colours including:
