Choosing the best fly line for your rod these days can be a complicated and sometimes costly experience. Scientific Anglers have been making fly lines in Midland, Michigan for over 70 years. Fly line technology has advanced so much over the years with tapers, textures and coatings. More and more these days, many lines being designed for specific applications, offering far more choices for anglers. The days of just grabbing a 5 weight rod and stringing it up with just any 5 weight line are gone.
The team at SA would like to simplify the process and invite you to their Bring Your Own Rod Event.
Simply come along and bring your own fly rod or rods and the SA team will have a large range of demo lines for you to test cast on your own rod.
The SA team will consist of Jeff Pierce who is based at the Scientific Anglers HQ in Midland Michigan and is the head of foreign sales. Jeff will be joined by Steve Peterson who is the sales representative for the UK and Ireland. Steve and Jeff will be on hand to answer any of your questions on SA products and to let you try out a range of lines to suit your rod and casting style.
