The Vision Kalu is the real deal when it comes to a value for money fly reel. The parentage of this fabulous reel comes from Vision’s famous GT reel, just fattened up. The Kalou reels are machined die-cast reels which have superb a sealed, smooth, drag system consisting of stainless steel and carbon discs. The one turn drag adjustment knob is fully machined on the Kalu reel and has clear laser markings for setting the appropriate drag. The Kalu’s mid arbor design can take more than enough backing with a suitable fly line.
